DJ Sam attended the Grace Lutheran College Year 11 Semi Formal on Friday night. It was a beautiful venue by the water in Redcliffe. The students looked absolutely wonderful and the mocktails were blended and ready to be served. As the students entered looking wonderful Sam played some tunes to get everyone in the mood for a huge night of dancing. The girls looked lovely in their dresses and some of the boys even pulled out their bow ties and suits for the evening.

Canapas were being served and the boys and girls were taking selfies and photos left right and centre. It was the perfect setting for a wonderful formal evening. As the sun set over the water, the music got louder and the song requests came rolling in.

The boys were definitely outshining the girls with their old school moves and suave style on the dance floor. We even had a beautiful tribute to the wonderful Aretha Franklin with some RESPECT! Soon the girls loosened up and showed off their Whip Nae Nae and of course the latest craze ‘In my Feelings’.

DJ Sam played lots of old school hits from the 80’s and 90’s featuring Will Smith, Chris Brown, Bon Jovi’s living on a prayer and even ABBA. We finished the night by taking things down a notch with some slow dancing to Ed Sheeran Perfect and Daryl Braithwaite Horses. All the students had a fantastic night singing, dancing, requesting songs and celebrating their year at school with teachers and friends.
