DJ JAMES was out at the Walkabout Creek, at The Gap for Jess & Tony’s beautiful wedding, nestled in southern D’Aguilar National Park area.

It’s such a beautiful venue, that can cater to any style wedding – and the views around the venue – make for a perfect wedding ceremony and wedding reception.

Jess got in touch with us back in April, looking for a DJ – and wanting someone to play their chosen play list plus some mix of old and new with a focus on dancing until our feet bleed! (Quite literally, that’s what she said!) So James was booked and headed out around 2-3pm to start setting up & getting ready.

Their music started at about 4:30pm as guests came to the reception room for some pre drinks following their picturesque ceremony by the lake, and as music started flowing – canapés were served on the deck around 5:00pm, shortly after with everyone called by the MC to take their seats, and the Bridal party was announced.

Guest ventured once again to the deck for the canapés to enjoy the lovely views for photo opportunities of the rainforest – and then not long after that – all guests were asked to be seated for the welcome speech given by Paras the MC.

After that, entrees were served. Not long after that – there was some light dancing afterwards to a few favourite songs on their playlist – and everyone called to the table for some speeches taking place before the mains came out. Some of the guests came to the dance floor as soon as they had finished their meal!

The dancing kept on growing, more people coming up enjoying the night – and then it was time for the first dance as Husband & Wife for Jess & Tony’s Bridal Waltz… After Jess and Tony had their dance, everybody else came to join them and DJ JAMES kicked off the dancing with more upbeat tunes.

After a while, was time for the father daughter dance! – and then shortly after that, the cake was cut for guests to enjoy some sugary sweets!

Guests pretty much just danced the rest of the night! with James finishing the night with a favourite of the bride – Joy To the World!
