Ahhh… Back to Gabbinbar Homestead, one of my favourite venues to work at. It really is quite a elegant & amazing property.

Lauren & Zach were really fun to work with. There was plenty of surprises that we had planned – not to mention a number of meetings back and forth, after they booked me for their wedding day in March. We sat down together both at my office, and their place and discussed various options, changes, what they liked and what they didn’t want all to create their perfect day with a great team of people.

I worked with their MC Brenton on the night as we shared a dual Master of Ceremonies role on the day – co-coordinating with everyone and making sure it all runs to the timeline. Brenton was a friend of Lauren & Zach so they wanted to incorporate him into the day but also still liked the services that I provided.

The Ceremony was beautiful! ….Lauren walked down the aisle Christina Perri’s – 1000 Years by the Piano Guys and we had a lovely ceremony told by Karen Miles, their Celebrant.

After the Ceremony, guests mingled out on the lawn enjoying some drinks & refreshments, playing some Lawn Games and Chess, and some Group Photos/Family Photos with the help of Bayleigh Vedelago.

Around 6:00pm Guests made their way inside the venue, to 3 rows of tables displayed with names for everyone to find their seat and get seated. Brenton & I had fun as the MC getting guests ready, and hyped up for Lauren & Zach’s arrival along with their Bridal Party members coming into the room.

We heard a few speeches from Family Members, including the Father of the Bride & Father of the Groom, and then Lauren gave away her Bouquet to the longest married couple.

There was even a surprise Flash Mob organised by the Mother of the Bride – Pam – who secretely printed off lyrics to a John Paul Young’s – Love is in the Air – which we handed out during Zach’s speech as he was talking to then have everyone stand up and start singing while I played some music….. It was so much fun!

After speeches – we had a very touching Father Daughter Dance with Lauren & her Dad, with some secret audio messages that I recorded with Lauren before hand.

Their first dance in the Grand Ballroom had eyes watching in a big circle around them as they danced around the room to John Legends – All of Me – a dance they had been practicing for this day – and they pulled it off amazingly!

Guests partied the night away afterwards with plenty of dancing, and Tea/Supper served by the Gabbinbar staff, with special Expresso Martini’s served as well!

It wasn’t long until the night ended, and after singing their favourite songs on the Dance Floor (hand picked by Lauren & Zach) on our Online Planner, they departed with guests outside with Sparklers in the air for their farewell.
