Valentines Day Weekend, and what better way to celebrate your wedding, then with friends & family on your Wedding Night.

Monique & Tyler’s was recommended to me from Social Media, and we sat down at a local Coffee Club together to talk about the different services that I offer. After deciding that she wanted me as their DJ & MC – over the coming weeks & months we went through all the planning stages, and I got to know more about them, and their story.

Monique & Tyler were such a fun couple to work with, Monique was really excited about her Wedding – as was Tyler and they wanted it to be lots of fun, and stress free.

Although there was a bit of wet weather throughout the day – it didn’t stop Monique & Tyler from having fun. The Reception was brought forward by 2 hours, as it was supposed to have Canape’s outside, – Jess the Function Manager at Mecure Clear Mountain Lodge – who I have worked with before and is great to deal with – contacted me to let me know – so I ended up coming in earlier around 2:30pm to start setting up so that nothing was disturbed. Ready to go by 4:00pm, a quick rehearsal and sound check and then the guests started to arrive. It was great to meet Monique’s mum, who although she was a little nervous about her speech – she did a great job, and I got to meet Tyler’s Dad, and their family also.

Adam from Raconteur Photography was there snapping some great photos of everyone enjoying the day – and was a pleasure to deal with. I managed to get a sneak preview of some of the photos and they looked amazing! He even had some printed for the guests to view and flip through from the Ceremony. Crazy!

A grand introduction, followed by a cute story about a couple that fell in love at a Supermarket Store – and a few more antics along the night made Monique & Tyler’s wedding really special. We had surprise speakers, and a surprise telephone message that I had arranged – along with 1 or 2 quick games for a bit of fun.

It was a great night, that I’m sure Monique & Tyler will remember together! My only question is what do they do next Valentines Day!
