Lisa contacted us back in October looking for a DJ to play 80’s 90’s 00’s for her 50th Birthday!
DJ JAMES was on the decks out at the lovely Rydges Rooftop Bar at Southbank with stunning views of the Brisbane CBD and Southbank area. Lisa’s guests started to arrive just before 7:00pm up until 7:30 – and starting to mingle and get comfortable enjoying their drinks and talking. There was a great mix of people – of all ages who attended!
DJ JAMES had his first dance on the floor at 8:00pm and then shortly after there was some speeches held. James kicked off the dancing after speeches with “Girls just Wanna Have Fun” and the girls did exactly that! They all had fun, including an awesome Air Guitar Battle to Jessie’s Girl and Duran Duran – Lisa’s favourite song!
About 9:30pm Party Favorites started to come out, including both the Nut Bush and Macarena – and then alot more hits of 70’s gradually moving up to the 80’s. DJ JAMES was well inundated with requests throughout the night including some good old Fleetwood Mac!
The night ended on a high with YMCA and then finishing up with Bohemian Rhapsody!
It was a very fun night for Lisa’s 50th Birthday, sure to be remembered!
