Caley & Trent’s Wedding out at Walkabout Creek, The Gap
Caley & Trent’s wedding was a beautiful day and evening.
I remember meeting them back in January 2018 down at the local Coffee Club in North Lakes to sit down and discuss their wedding day. I also met with Chloe, Caley’s Maid of Honour who also had a big part in the planning and assistance for their wedding – as every Maid of Honour does!
Together we discussed a number of options and ideas that they had in mind. One of them included a First Dance that wasn’t going to put too much focus on them, and rather just try and keep it more ‘low key’ as not everyone likes the spot like.
We had a few meetings further on in the year, and recently just last week to go through some final preparation and planning.
Caley & Trent’s wedding was out at Walk About Creek, a beautiful Rain Forest Wedding Venue out at the Gap that features 2 distinct rooms nestled up in the D’Aguilar National Park.
Their Ceremony was held in the Amphitheatre which is a nice small intimate area that guests witness their vowels and saying their “I Do’s” followed by some group photos which I assisted with just to help things move along – as they were running a little bit behind schedule – so timing was short.
Following the Wedding Ceremony, guests made their way back up to the Reception area to settle down and find their seats for a lovely night ahead filled with lots of love and laughter.
Quite a few families had travelled across Australia to join together and celebrate, so it was a very nice evening catching up with friends and family.
Caley particular wanted some soft pink uplighting in the room just to give it a little bit of colour – so I placed a few lights around the room just to add some extra atmosphere.
Following some lovely speeches from family, and the Maid of Honour & Best Man, we watched Trent have a beautiful fauther daughter dance with Tiffany, followed by the first dance with Caley and the Bridal Party.
After that, it was time to party and enjoy the night dancing and singing away.
We had all of Caley’s favourite songs that she requested on the online music planner along with a couple of requests from the audience, and some of Tiffany’s favourite songs too!
The night ended with a final dance before everyone headed off into the evening ready for bed after a big day!
