What could only be described as a beautiful day, with friends & family – Henri & Bridie’s wedding at at the beautiful Clear Mountain Lodge was a perfect setting for saying “I DO” with the panoramic views of the Glass House Mountains, Redcliffe & Moreton Bay area
DJ BRAD met Henri & Bridie at Henri’s sister’s wedding (Brad & Ang) on Stradbroke Island and after they saw me at their wedding, followed by another close friends wedding they decided to sit down and discuss their entertainment options. Henri & Bridie chose DJ BRAD as their DJ & MC, with his Entertainment Package to ensure the night would run smoothly and professional, but also still keeping to their fun, cheeky personality that they both share.
Henri & Bridie met online on eHarmony, and what originally planned to be a lunch date, turned into diner and about 5 pubs in the big mind maze of Brisbane. During their date they discovered the same interest in music, and a strong passion for 4WD and the beach.
It started at 3pm with Debbie Payne, their celebrant officially declaring them as Husband & Wife to start the afternoon off. It was a pleasure to work with Debbie – as she clearly understood Henri & Bridie’s requirements, and needs and delivered a personalised ceremony which was fun, relaxed but also very touching.
Richard from Richard Grainger Photography was also there working with Bridie from the start of the day, following right through to the end of the Bridal Waltz capturing some great photos of everyone having a good time, including memorable moments such as the Best Man speech! Richard is a great photography, who is very relaxed, and laid back but also highly professional with a keen eye for his photos.
From meeting with Henri & Bridie several times throughout the months leading up to – DJ BRAD delivered a professional Master of Ceremonies service, with a tailored & personalised story of how the two met and also sharing some insights to their milestones & happiness along the way. We also had a personalised Monogram that Bridie had designed, along with a Slideshow of their vowels pre-recorded over the song during the Slideshow which everyone watched and listened to.
And lastly their first dance as Husband & Wife on a bed of clouds for their Bridal Waltz.
It was a great night, with the hilarious First Man speech from Steve, and a touching emotional speech from Ang, followed by dancing on the dancefloor to one of Henri & Bridie’s favourite song “Olly Murs – Dance with Me Tonight”.
