What a perfect setting for such a fun, loving couple to get married at! Jon & Beth had been friends since 2011 when they first started talking to each other. For the first 3 years they were best of friends, with John being a big support to Beth, which eventually led to them having their first date out at Mount Cootha with Hot Chocolate and Ice Cream!

They chose their Wedding Date (4th March 2016) because it was actually the same date 3 years ago that they met – making it that little bit more special. Guests arrived for the Ceremony which was also held at the Restaurant, where they could watch Jon & Beth enjoy the panoramic views of the city whilst they say I Do with their guests.

Shortly after it was time for some group photos and then they started to make their way into the room…

Jon & Beth Wedding Mount Cootha DJ and MC - 1

Beth really wanted lots of Pink & White lights around the room, so with our Uplighting I placed some lights throughout the room (sadly I forgot to take some pictures of it during the evening) – but as the sun set, the room was filled with a beautiful hue of Pink & White for guests to enjoy.

As guests made their way to their seats, I went through some quick announcements, checked with the Venue Staff, Photographers that everyone was ready – and then it was Lights, Camera – Action, time to announce the Bridal Party and Bride & Groom into the room.

With some surprises in store throughout the night, and an another amazing Lolly Buffet for guests to enjoy with sweets – everyone had a great time. We had a few speeches from friends & family, including a few RANDOM speakers as well that I had arranged earlier – and then it was time for some dancing.

Beth had a beautiful father daughter dance with her father to Ed Sheeran’s, Photograph – and then followed by the Bridal Waltz with Jon & Beth together.

Guests had a great time dancing the night away, followed by the Beth’s impressive Bouqet toss, and not long after arranging a special farewell for the two of them as they departed for their Limo.

It was a great night up at Mount Cootha Restaurant for Jon & Beth’s wedding. They were such a fun, loving couple – and it was a beautiful evening with friends & family.
