Leah & Mitchel had a sneaky surprise at their surprise wedding engagement party at Windaroo Cottage!
They both decided to elope a few weeks before in a private ceremony at Maleny Manor and not tell anyone apart from a few close people. So naturally when everyone arrived they saw a very relaxed Leah & Mitchel mingling among friends & guests.
Leah had previously arranged for a Slideshow/Project to be provided on the night with a Video of their Wedding Ceremony – which they were going to show everyone at the start of the night.
And…. the reaction was amazing! Everyone thought it was just a nice slideshow of photos (as that’s what we told the audience) – until they saw a video, and a video of both Leah & Mitchel getting ready for their special day.
After everyone watched the slideshow, their MC announced the couple formally in for the first time, as Husband & Wife – with a big round of applause! The rest of the night was alot more relaxed, and just lots of mingling and chatting amongst friends and getting lots of photos with everyone!
Halfway through the night we had some speeches from friends & family with alot of tears, hugs and praise for this beautiful couple – and then it was straight into the dancing for everyone to dance the night away at their surprise wedding party.
The night ended with a big farewell that I got everyone to get involved with as they finished up.
