Peter & Jia were recommended to me by McCleods Golf Club out at Mount Ommaney. They were a lovely couple to work with and both very excited in the planning of their special day. They had a lot of overseas guests from China, Singapore and other areas coming to their wedding – and most being family – the importance of their Chinese culture was very themed throughout the day.
DJ BRAD provided the Music, personalized Monogram, Dancing on the Clouds for the Entry & Bridal Waltz (something special that they wanted), and also Pink & Gold Uplights to match the room theme and colors.
The room was amazing! There was a giant balloon archway on the entrance to the room, and also balloons on the dance floor, they came in the night before and setup all the ceiling decorations with Chinese lanterns and decorations. You could tell so many people had helped to make this night a success and it was just great to see everyone coming together to help out.
The start of the night was a bit of a surprise – they had some special Chinese Dancers to welcome the Bridal Party, along with some Dancing on the Clouds smoke effects for the Peter & Jia as they were welcomed in to create a really exciting atmosphere. Then we had some Bride & Groom games hosted by their two MC’s, and then shortly after some singing from one of their friends, and speeches. We also got go watch a really nice slideshow from Ivan who is a freelance Videographer who had done some filming from the ceremony and the High Tea ceremony which was just beautiful.
It really was a lovely night, full of fun, laughter and surprises. Everyone danced to some old school 90’s R&B music, with hits like TLC, Chris Brown, Mario, Usher and more. The crowd also requested Gangnam Style (which they just absolutely owned on the dance floor!) and favourites like Macarena & Nutbush.
